Description :
A secure and modern online payment system built for the University of Saida, allowing students, visitors, and contractors to make various fee payments seamlessly. Developed with Next.js 14, Server Actions, PostgreSQL, and integrated with institutional payment gateways.
Contributions :
Developed the full frontend and dashboard, implemented secure server actions for transactions, integrated institutional APIs, added role-based access control, built admin management tools, and optimized performance using Redis caching.
Challenges :
Building secure payment flows, handling large traffic during registration periods, and designing a reliable verification process.
Learnings :
Deepened experience with Next.js server actions, improved database optimization with Prisma + PostgreSQL, and strengthened knowledge in secure payment system architecture.
Outcomes :
Successfully deployed and currently used by thousands of students for registration/re-registration fees and event payments.
